Meet Dr. Lauren Zomick

A positive therapeutic alliance

I believe in celebrating client’s victories and not only focusing on problem areas that need improvement, but also on things that are going well. Once the trust has been established, I can use the therapeutic relationship as a model to help clients become more aware of their patterns so they can experience more satisfaction and success in their relationships and in their lives.

One size does not fit all when it comes to therapy. I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and believe psychoeducation is extremely important. I encourage open communication from the first session and make a point of asking clients for feedback to make sure that we’re not only on the same page, but also that they are getting what they want out of their therapy.

As a team we will work together to discover and understand longstanding patterns of thinking and feeling which keep us from fully understanding ourselves and what motivates our behavior. With guidance and support clients will begin to better understand themselves.
